Anyone been to one of these? Any good?

 

Reflux and I used to work the shows. Maybe Reflux still does, I don't know. I'd have to say that it's a waste of time, if you like quality cars. If you are really interested, go to the show in Calgary, they have much better turnout. I can almost guarantee you will feel ripped off for whatever money you spend.

I don't blame the show, I blame the scene. We just don't have the cars.

 

Yeah I judge the DTP events. I wouldn't put it as um..."straight forward" as Loose but he touches on some valid points.

The Calgary event caters more to the sports car enthusiast. As already stated, the scene down south is ahead of Edmonton's so that will be reflected in the quality/quantity of cars that turn out.

If anyone's interested in coming, give me a PM, I can put you on the guest list. I'll probably have to cap it around 5 pairs of tickets though.

Don't know if any of you guys want to enter cars (comes with free tickets) but we can talk about it.

For Edmonton's show, take out all of the exotics and replace with Cavaliers, Sunfires, and Neons.

 

So, according to the DTP website, there will be a McLaren SLR roadster at the Mobil1 booth, and I know David at Garage Works is planning to have several exotics at his booth (F-cars, a Murci and a Gallardo), so perhaps the scene in Edmonton is looking up?

Also - David is looking for more exotics for his booth, so if anyone on here wants to show off their toy, give David a call at 908-1361.

Finally, spotted at Eurasia on Friday - not sure whose it is, but it has Alberta plates on it...
