I want to see what's the interest for a local Vancouver meet and greet. Just so we can get to know each other.

Date: Aug. 23
Time: 1:00pm
Place: Oakridge

I'm thinking we would just meet up, chat, do a short drive, photos, and can go for a coffee if people want, otherwise we can part.

23rd would be much better, but obviously I'm only one person and there will always be other meets. I'm just happy something's trying to be organized locally. I'll be there in spirit if it's the 16th

 

Aug 14 17: PCA CWR is having their big weekend at Sun Peaks near Kamloops. Many may be there.

 

I will be busy this weekend(working),but the 23rd would work so far anyway!

Any preferences on where to meet up in Vancouver? I was thinking of Oakridge mall (The Bay parking lot or on the roof) possibly because it's usually quite empty near the back of that lot.

Where are the rest of the Vancouver 6speeders?

 

i will post... rest of 6speeders... probably basking in the sun.. or working...

 

a bunch of us are thinking of heading out to mt. baker and whidbey island...and making a day out of it. the entire cruise should be about 6 hours. dunno if that may interest you guys (as a whole).

if the meet and greet is on the 22nd, i'll come out.

the 16th is the revscene meet out in pitt meadows, in collaboration with a small little hobbyist airshow. we're planning to meet up and roll-in together, if anybody is interested

 

Is there still any plan for some sort of meet? Trying to decide between this and potentially attending the big Z/G cruise.

 

the mt. baker thing is canceled since the weather is iffy
