Undercoating for Canadian winter driving?
Undercoating for Canadian winter driving?
are the 911s done undercoating from factory or it is something we need to do after buying them? I am planning to get a 07 Carrera from the states in the near future and will drive in winter for sure as long as it's not snowing.
the Porsche metal has already been galvanized to keep it from rusting prematurely, but I wouldn't undercoat it, I would use "Krown" oil treatment or something along those lines...the oil method penetrates better into seams and whatnot unlike undercoating which is thicker and cannot.....just my 2 cents from past experience...
if it is pre-galvanized then I am not going to worry about it. Right now I am searching for the right car and find a right time to make the purchase.
Thanks a lot guys!!
