Jack,

Great picture of the car! Love those rims.

Yeah, I just pulled my car out of storage yesterday, and I hear snow for tomorrow

Hope to go for a group drive soon.

Howie

ekam: They're Kinesis F110 wheels. I picked them up from Wheel Enhancement. Great guys to deal with and shipping was quite quick.

Yeah, I wouldn't be too concerned with the snow fall. It's just an extra day to park the car... that or go have A LOT of fun with it. hehe. I'm just hoping it's not so bad they decide to go sanding everything again.

And I'm hoping that there's lots of precipitation to wash off all the sand and gravel on the streets!

I think I might wash mine. Not sure yet. It's looking like crap in its current state. Think I need the clay bar thing. I think GT30s would pretty it up a bunch. Who's a good detailer in the Chucker? Would be nice for someone to do it in my driveway.

I'm pretty much set to go.
I've replaced my clutch accumulator,
power steering reservoir,
Replaced the spark plugs,
installed the GT2 intercoolers,
installed my laser jammers,
and got my front lip repaired from that one wetaskiwin meet where I hit the dip on the lawn.
I just have to flush my diff, tranny and engine oil now.

[quote=jackolo;2343764]I just got the wheels and the exhaust on. I was going to wait till May but a pothole expedited my trip to Porsche.
The note is definitely subtle compared to what I'm used to but vastly improved over the stock system. I like the enhanced sound from start up and on throttle.
Thanks for the great service and quick shipping!

Here's a quick pic while I was over at my parent's.

Car looks great.. is it a PDK tranny?

Exclamation

I'm selling my car for summer. There's a good chance something new is coming.

In the short-term though. I need to:
- put my stock header back in, with new y-pipe I've just purchased. (my current one broke from bottoming it out)
- fix my headlight halo

otherwise that's it. the headlight halo is going to be the biggest pain.. because I have to take out the headlight and send it back to the manufacturer.

Yupp! Got the Porsche Double Clutch in there and it's great. I prefer a standard 6 speed manual but not by much. I'm simply floored at how intuitive it is at always being able to read what gear I want it to be in, even in non sport mode. And no, I've never had a car with a more traditional paddle system before so I have no issues with Porsche's push forward to go faster and pull back to slow down.

John, no I haven't. I'm will be getting an engine build next winter, if the markets are much higher , and GT30s at that time. I need to speak with Todd, as he was telling me, a couple of months ago, about some GT28/30 hybrids that would be fine on a stock engine. I was thinking of bolting those on with a tune for this summer. GT700 injectors can feed the increased airflow.

9ff's for the TT. Anyone want to buy some perfect (never curbed, scratched etc) black GT3 wheels with Turbo offsets and lots of Michelin Pilot tread left (I think I've put on about 1-2000 miles on these tires)? They're LIGHT!!! OTOH, if I don't sell them, I might just end up driving this car next winter

Superfly...you still selling your rims? I am in Calgary, sorry can't PM because I have less than 15 posts.
