From a track / DE day at Race City yesterday ...

I liked the contrasts between the gloomy day, the old / worn down track, and the car.

Can someone reccommend a good place in Edmonton for a PPI on a 993? I phoned Norden and they state they typically do not do leak downs or compression tests. They said they could do a compression test but they would charge me 5.5hrs totalling $780 plus tax. That seems a little rediculous or am I out to lunch?

not an Albertan, but car was formerly a "Calgary" car (original/previous owner Jeff Gidney who formerly had a lease on Saddledome & took TripleA ball into Calgary).

Maybe try Eurasia?

Out with the old, in with the new. Better photos coming later. The R32 was too slow and uncomfortable. This car is MUCH more my style.

Looking good Colin!!! I've got a buddy might be selling his S4, cheap. It all works great, no issues, just an older car and he's moved to Ontario. So if you're interested, I want the front seats from it!!! No, not , I'm SERIOUS. Anyway, call me if you wanna see it. He's back in town next week. I've got the keys.

Beauty 964. That's hawt. Hate to see cars like that leave our province, but at least it's gone to the coast where it'll be used lots and we can visit.

Oh, and ^^^ Ginch, for your 993, yeah, try Eurasia. They can do it for you.

The car has such a reputation for being unreliable I just might need another one to drive during the downtime. What kind of seats does his S4 have that you want so badly?

These seats?

You should bring that Porsche of yours to the Euro show in Red Deer on the 14th. Chris and I are busy working on the wagons. I'm going to be polishing them both this weekend.

Dang, those look sweet!! Are those inserts and door panels stock??

Yeah, same seats, just all black leather and no alcantara. But so much nicer than the seats than the plain jane grey/silver centers in my audi.

Took the 911 down to Euroquake a couple years ago. Pretty cool. They had a portable dyno, 2 SLR (one cab one coupe), a few F-cars, a super hot Aston, lots of Porsches and Bimmers etc. And some Audi's of course, including a brand new R8. Fun day. Good times.

Yes sir, they are indeed stock. I originally wanted the silver/black tuxedo interior, but I have to say this one has grown on me quite a bit. Its certainly going to be easier keeping the blue mint than silver.
