Installing a Radar Detector and Speed-Gun Jammer in a Porsche 918 Spyder is Not for Those in a Hurry

If you're willing to spend the money to buy a Porsche 918 Spyder, I'm assuming you're going to drive it quickly. I'm also assuming you won't want to get caught zooming around in it, so you'll want to get a radar detector and a jamming system that'll keep police from successfully clocking your speed on their laser guns.

I would look at AL Priority for your Laser Jamming needs, and I would look at the Beltronics STiR Plus or the Escort 9500CI systems for your Radar detection. Beltronics and Escort are the same company.

The above are two separate installed systems. There is an optional module from Al Priority (RG Module) that allows it to integrate with the Bel STiR or the 9500CI antennae, but doing that loses you the Escort red light camera database and the ability to lock out false alarm spots, both features I could care less for.

I just installed (meaning myself) a five sensor AL Priority Laser Jammer system (3 front, two rear) with integrated Escort 9500CI antennae, RG Module, HiFi voice system, and GPS antenna.

The AL System jams every known laser gun on the market today.
Bestradardetectors.com is where I bought my system from. They are the US Distributor for AL Priority, and have a great Forum at:

http://radarandlaserforum.com/forum.php

AL Priority US website: http://www.alpriorityusa.com. The Forum on the website is the same as on the first link.

I would suggest you do some research on the Forum, then decide what to get. I used a mirror mounted Escort 9500xi detector for a long time before taking the installed route.

If you want to have someone install the system for you, they may sell AL Priority as well.

Just be careful, as some of the laser systems out there are old and cannot fight the newer laser speed guns.
