Help with illuminated door sills, they flicker!

I had mine installed by the closest thing I've got to a Porsche dealer locally, the audi/VW dealer. Unfortunately though they flicker. So I've given my car to my trusted car audio and electronics guys, who have confirmed they seem to be wired up identically to the instructions and photos I found on Renntech. But in that doing it that way they are in fact paralleled, which does not make sense to them. I asked over there at Renntech for the TSB on them but I got brushed off saying I need to be a contributing $$ member. I'm not inclined to do that though given I've gotten for me info generally off this forum!

Can anyone help by way of accurate wiring diagram, etc?

Thanks!

Do they flicker all the time or just a couple times upon first door opening?

I looked, and I don't see a TSB for the illuminated door sills at RennTech.

This is known problem on some cars 4LA, voltage drops. You should add two standart automotive relays to illuminate sills and control them by wire connected to pin # ?? (do not remember) on control mudules in both doors.

Thanks for the responses guys. I got back today to find they had solved the flicker issue by tapping into door power instead of internal lights as was done originally. The sill now go out when the door closes instead of improperly staying on until the internal light goes off.

Also, yes there is a TSB listed on RennTech. it is referred to in a specific thread about DIY install of the sills.
