Another new Cayenne S owner...

and that's my wife... after 4 years of shooting weddings for free for our organization, my wife finally got her pay.

Questions:
1) Are there any other places where I can get running boards besides a Porsche dealer? They cost $1.5K... Is the install easy?

2) How about the aluminum roofrails? (straight one going from front to back). I think they look slick... Any other places to buy? Easy to install?
3) Finally, my wife hates it when I call it a 'truck'... She says it's not a ford... Could anyone tell me why it's called a 'truck' on here?

Last but not least, I want to thank this forum for being so informative especially these who took the time to answer my questions... Thank you!!!

The camera work for the weddings has paid off here as well Nice Pictures

Congrats on the new "TRUCK" and I don't know why they call it a truck on here either. It's an SUV to me

I am possibly picking up an 08 Cayenne S Black/Black. I was looking for an 05/06 Turbo but decided this is a better move to go for something with less miles and less worries. The low mileage Turbo Examples were not worth the 65-70K.

They are giving me a chance to steal this DEMO from them and I mean steal

And I like the new design changes as well. I got PCM 2.1 and it had what I wanted from the start was the Air Suspension.

Look at the new TechArt for the Cayenne 08. Enjoy in good health!

Alpine,

Thanks! Whoa...awesome car and congrats to you! I personally don't remember seeing a equipped S that comes with Air Suspension! Maybe once or twice on dealer's webiste... Lucky you!!!

Yes, I faced the same situation. I was deciding on Used Turbo or new Cayenne (not even S)...then decided to spend more to buy a S... Same reasons as you...less worries (and new car smell...LOL!!!)...

That Tech Art is SEXY. Thanks for the pic! Only one day I hope I can afford it....what a great looking car!

You may want to check prices with the Parts Dept directly if you plan on installing yourself. It's a common practice for the Sales Dept to markup on accessories. As a matter of facts, I have purchased parts online from your purchasing dealer and their price is extremely good!

LOL!!! I thought 'Cayenne' came from the name of a city in Europe. Wasn't aware of the pepper..now I know.

Ok...now I really wonder who started calling it a truck and why.

Btw, nice CTT you have! Love your rims...
