Cayenne running boards

I find ourselves need a pair of these... ok..we're short.
Would you get these for $900 from this seller:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...spagenameZWD1V

1) Wonder if they're OEM?

2) How hard is the install?

If you have pics, could you please post and show me what they look like on a Cayenne? Thank you...

I've seen those on a bunch of Cayennes and IMO, they are the nicest looking running boards of them all. I don't know if they are OE equipment but I do think the price is reasonable.

John
1) Box is not like OEM, pictures terrible quality, but i think it is not absolutely like oem look.

2) installation OEM step boards take about 3 hours, just screw supports on existing holes, only thing you need special tool to install hex rivet nuts for M8 bolts.

Regards

Thank you both! Wish there're more pics for me to see though...

My friend suggested not to install the running boards and he said they're for honda/toyota trucks only...not for porsche... what do you guys think?

Call me crazy, but they look the same

I guess I was looking at Cayennes with the OE running boards before....either way, I think that "style" running board looks the best on the truck.

cellg8, just as a heads up. The running boards for the 04-06 models are different than the 08 model. My dealer's parts department found this out the hard way. And from what my service guy says, and I trust his opinion for what that's worth, the install is not a painless process.

John, I don't actually have them on our Cayenne. The reason I know the difference is because the dealer meant to order the running boards for the 08 but ordered the 04-06s by mistake. They did offer to make me a deal on them since I have an 06 and they didn't want to ship them back to Germany. But, I like the lines of the Pepper without them. Sorry, I don't have a picture.

John tequipment is the accessories line from Porsche and so is "Exclusive" which is a department that produces special order items when you order a Porsche such as Carbon package, carbon steeringwheel and gear **** or other items such as headrest crests and lettering on the armrests.

Bana, Mean Machine, Gixxer... THANK YOU!

Gixxer, I came across that site, too but wasn't sure if it was legit so I passed... Now it seems like it's a legit and official site for tequipment.

Thank you!

Just lower the car and you will be okay

John you are becoming a mod-a-holic right out of the gate. Not a good sign
