Gas Cap Question

On my 996 the cord connected to the gas cap is long enough for it to hang without touching the car, thus preventing any scratches.

On the Cayenne the cord isn't long enough and if you let it hang you can end up scratching the side of the car.

What do you guys/gals do with the gas cap when you fill up?

Thanks

jamy85 will become famous soon enough
When I put gas, I just place the gas cap gentley on my car's body so it doesnt scratch.

DEETZ is on a distinguished road
Mine is long enough so that I can hang it on the thing that holds it I never have any problem with it.
