2008 Cayenne Turbo: 2 quarts of il in 3,300 miles?

Since I got a '08 Cayenne TT 3,300 miles ago for my wife, she added two quarts of oil: one at 2,000 and one recently.

The Service Advisor says it is whithin specs. What is your experience?

I am bringing the car in next week for a check up.

My other daily driver is a BMW 335 (direct injected, twin turbo) tuned to about 400++ hp (going to the dyno shop next week) and it is not burning oil at all.

Thanks for your answer. This is what my SA said. I am still a bit puzzled but I guess it comes with the territory.

I had a Simca with a Ferodo gearbox that used more than a quart per 100 km!

What kind of mods did you do to the 335 to get 400+ hp? Thanks.

I installed a PROcede from Shiv @ Vishnutuning back in March 2007. At this time, the software revision 1.3 produced 333 RWHP/391 RWTQ over the baseline 279RWHP/298RWTQ. See graph attached.

My first visit ever at a dragstrip, I ran 13.3/107 on the quarter mile.

I am now running revision 2.02 which pushes the RWHP to over 350 (about 400 at the flywheel). I will dyno the car next Monday. I hope to break into the 12s/112+ with the new setup, particularly if I find the time to get my LSD installed.

I am trying to persuade Shiv to build a PROcede for the Cayenne TT. He said he needs one for one week... but he is in San Francisco and I am near DC.

Yes, just with the chip. Pretty amazing. I wonder what it could achieve on the Cayenne TT. Shiv did 996 & 997 TT, so he says if he could have a Cayenne TT for a week, he could write the software.

Anyone with a '08 Cayenne TT in the SFO area?

My 06 Turbo was the same way. I only have 1000 on my 08 so no oil yet. Just cant belive a $110K suv needs a few quarts of oil between oil changes.
