It's called convincing dealers to sell to you for export. BIG Porsche nono. But lucky guy to find someone to do it for you!

They are either going to Asia, russia or somewhere in Latin America. Did I guess right : )

When I bought my Cayenne S, some guy came in (after I had a deposit down, but hadn't signed papers) and tried to out-bid my accepted offer. Dealer said no and honored my deposit, thankfully. When I asked the dealer why this guy was so anxious and agressive, said "oh, he ships them to Russia". Evidently the Cayenne is hugely popular there, and folks are making a tidy profit importing grey-market cars.

 

^^^ It's crazy I get asked if we can ship cars at least 3 times a week!

 

INSANELY popular there. something like 1/25 cars i saw there was a cayenne, including some orange techart cars. another 5/25 were merc and benz SUV's..the rest were all german sedans and the occasional moscovitch or lada.

btw, to the original poster, want to sell my carrera overseas since the market is so pisspoor over here
