Hi, this is my first post and I wish to reslove a mystery from a real expert on the forum. I went to porsche dealer serveral time to find the problem and they can't find it... When I start the car (cold), I can hear a kind of a intermitent grinding noise like an ice crusher from the engine... They change a selenoid, tensioner and it's not better. I want to know if anyone have a clue to resolve this issue. I'm not an expert but I don't know if it could be the water pump, timing chain, oil pump... When the engine is at normal temperature it's very hard to hear the noise. The dealer can't find anything and there is no faulty code. My warranty is ending soon...

probably the starter. Sometimes, when cold start, they get stuck in the engaged position and make grinding noise. It won't throw a faulty code on the computer.
