I was fortunate to get invited to one of these Porsche driving days experience, courtesy of Porsche GB. Basically an instructor shows you exactly what the Cayenne can do... I was totally blown away.

Specific highlights were, being driven at 165mph around a bowl in a CTT.. I only managed 135mph myself. I was also drove and was taken around a series of complex alpine driving that had the Cayenne power sliding around bends!!

The proving ground (Millbrook UK) had a straight two mile strip, in which I acheived just over 145mph in the CTT...plenty left, however needed to apply the brakes..

I did some off road driving up some 45% gradient hills... all on standard road tyres...These cars are truely amazing... One of the biggest surprises of the day is the way a standard Cayenne V6 can go around a series of bends, the front end lightness of these cars give it a real advantage..

I drove all brand new Cayenne V6, Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo.. Around 3 hours of pure Cayenne driving heaven.. Experiencing these things on the limit away from legal roads is awesome.. You often have to remind yourself that your not in a 911 and in something that weighs 2 tons!!

I am still buzzing..!! it has really re-ignited my passion for these cars and confirmed that the Cayenne is truely a "super" car..

 

i am convinced as well after owning one, but i can't do any power slides here in USA though without ending up in jail.
