Unitronic chipped?

One of the authorized dealers was out at our show today and told me he could get my 08 CS chipped and add about 20ft torque and HP on the car. It will cost $1000 and has a 30 day money back gurantee.

He said it is a remapping so it cant be dettected unless the dealership sees that the top speed is taken off.

Anyone had any experience?

Curious question-
Can the dealership see if the boost pressure is pegging higher than the factory software allows? If so, that would also be a dead give-away.

Right- was thinking of chipping my CTT, biggest concern is running into warranty issues from having the chip upgrade detected.

If I remember correctly, Performanceproducts.com/Automotion.com carries this line of ecu tune. I would call them and verify but I think it will give you a better piece of mind knowing that a reputable retailer carries the product. Although I would do more research to verify the gains that they claim.
