Is the Cayenne GTS the next 40th Anniversary 911? The 40th Anniversary 911 cars were priced near C4S/base Turbo dollars with all options and Porsche ended up discounting those by tens of thousands of dollars. I remember dealers giving a minimum of 15k off those cars within a year.

 

The car is aggressive looking, from the spoiler to the stance. The body panels, wheel wells, sport exhaust, etc. are all there. The seats are great, especially with the alcantara inserts. The alcantara headliner is just Ok. We have 21" wheels, already.

The question is...would you spend $9500 more. My answer...heck no!

Twenty more HP in a two and one half ton truck is nothing. The rest is for show. Get a base S, or a turbo.

 

As with any Porsche, don't buy them when they first come out; buy when there's excess inventory. Discounts on the order of $10K are not uncommon.

When you think about it, $80K+ for a SUV is in the stratesphere.

 

We got our first one in GTS Red today, pretty cool looking truck!! Its an auto tho, I was hoping to see a 6speed!
