He was able to find one in a salvage yard and buy all the parts needed minus the keys for $1200 I think.... I dont remember labor, but the car had to be gutted and I mean GUTTED! Everything but the headliner and parts of the dash were removed. It was a fun install! Different and challenging but works great!! Would never know it's not factory.

Well, at least we know it's possible, but even w/salvage parts it still sounds cost prohibitive - at least for my budget. Thanks for the info!
