Smile Drove a Turbo Pepper today for the first time.

I went into the dealer today with my fiancée. We are looking at selling my Dodge truck (tow vehicle) and my fiancé's 2004 BMW 330 and buying a Cayenne S. Sure enough, the sales guy got us into the turbo. All I can say is WOW!!! That thing moves for being a 6000 pound anchor. Easily hit 100MPH about 4 times on the test drive. We also played with the air susp. That is cool.
I am looking at getting an "S" with air susp. (towing the race car), Nav, Bi-xenons. I think we may just order a 2005 because I hear you get a few extra goodies with the 2005MY. Although, after all the options the pepper is $70k. A little bit more and I could get the turbo . Although that would take away from the 997 fund. Anyway, I already have one dealer chopping $5k off the MSRP without even asking on a new 2005 order.
The turbo pepper was $1100-$1200/month with $5k down.(48 month lease) or $750/month with the "S".
Decisions, decisions.
I also learned it is hard to get the air susp on the "S". Anyone towing without it? It would be nice to have but i know I do not really need it.

They did have a 2004 used "S" (7000 miles) with nav, xenons and a few other goodies. This was the color combo we liked and plan on ordering. They were asking $59K. Maybe I should offer them $54k and go that route.
more decisions....

Feel free to to comment... the angel and devil on each shoulder are driving me crazy!

Chad as often as you tow the air is a must! Michaels will order you one for $1500 over invoice.. almost $8-9k off.

My cheapo-dude advice... wait until they almost get their MY05 on the floor to make an offer on an 04 ... they will be glad to free up some space.
I'm a used car guy at heart, so if you liked the color combo and the options of the used CayenneS, that'd be my route.

Hey Kev,
Greetings from Hawaii..... Can't you tell I hate my new job. I'll be here through Friday.
When Tori and I went into Micheal's that one time after you spoke with him he only offered $5k off. I know that was like 6+ months ago. Things probably changed. Hell, if he gives me 9k off a 2005 Titanium/black with Nav, Air susp, bi-xenons, tow, and some other goodies I'll come in there and order it next week. Also what do they charge to get the lower bumpers/rockers painted?

I forgot who I spoke with at Kev's Dealer...They offered me $2k above invoice. I ended up picking up a car off the lot at another dealer for the same price.

Titanium/Black...good color combo!

Aloha Chad!! Have a Lava Flow for me... (Pina Colada with strawberry mix) Anyway let me put a call into Mark and tell him to take care of you. Im sure that is there initaial sales pitch $5k off, but I can take care of that.. To paint all of the bottom rockers and bumpers would cost about $1k.
Hey it looks like there building me a 2.5 since I need a new case and rods and crank. So thats good.. Im hoping it ready to go by the end of July.
