Was this a good deal on aftermarket 20" Technos?

I just bought a used set of 20" repro Technos with new Falken sport tires from a fellow local enthusiast for $350. OEM silver 997 center caps included .
The wheels were bought locally from Wheeldynamics or one of the other local wheel places.

Only bummer is two of the wheels have an 8"-10" rub on the rim from curbing, so it would cost about $100 - $120 total for both to get them fixed.

Other than that the wheels are mint and the tires are 80%-90%.

Good deal?

I don't know how the Falkens rate as tires but figured I probably could not go too wrong at that price. Worst case I use them for winter wheels.

LOl, yeah, I guess so- Just needed a sanity check- you know, sometimes the whole 'too good to be true' - 'get what you pay for' thing and all..

hahaha... I'm just like you man. I also need that satisfaction. I always want to make sure that I get the best for my money. I'm never cheap with anyone.. but when it comes to buying something for MYSELF... I ALWAYS make sure I get the best possible deal I can. Expensive or not.. I can't help but research and make my money go as far as it can.

Anyways, nice wheels. I picked up my Cayenne TT and the stupid thing came w/ 18" wheels...., couldn't believe it!

Yeah this deal was really odd-

I was actually out there to buy his OEM rubber mats / cargo liner and when I was there he said, oh by the way I have these wheels.. Apparently he just returned his leased CTT and had to put the factory wheels back on- and he didn't want to keep the wheels laying around or mess with ebay so it just turned out to be $400 for mats, cargo liner and wheels.

Really nice guy though-

Wait.. did they actually sell a CTT with 18's????? that is wacky.

Are you talking about 350 per wheel or for the whole set?

I'd really be interested to see some photos of the 20" aftermarket Technos. All I've seen so far are the touched up photos from Ebay sellers, and they're never on the car. I'm curious how close they are to the real thing.

Yep I hear ya, which is why I looked at them first before buying. They look exactly the same as factory, will post pics after I get them put on next week.

Whole set = $350 including the silver 997 center caps. I was actually not going to buy the Technos but couldn't pass up the deal. When I decide on what 22" wheels I want, these will become the winter wheels.
