Stealership says..

So a month after I purchased my CPO CTT which I've only put about 300 miles on, I get a check engine oil level warning light. I called the dealership and they said this is normal and I just need to bring it back for them for a "topping off"

Anyone had the stealership tell you this too? I know these suv's drink oil like a beast but wouldnt they have put new oil in the car during the CPO process?

Just put a straight 40 oil (0W-40) from Mobil1. 1 quart would be enough I guess

I got the same after a month or so with my new CTT. I got a non-Porsche dealer(Audi) to look and they topped it up as well. It just came on again a few days ago and when I sent in to a Porsche dealer for fitment of some Techart goodies, they fixed at no charge. It didn't say that they topped it up, but I imagine they did..

good to know, I have a 1/2 case of 0W-40 Mobile1 in my garage..

I have a non-functioning passenger rear door keyless entry, and the rear hatch keeps sagging down when open / won't stay up. Time to tap that purchased warranty...

Yep, had the same problem ! Oil Light went off after I came back from a 400 mile trip about 2 months after having the car. Brought it to the dealer and they just topped it off and it was down a good amount ! It definitely drinks oil thought !

Yep, that is normal. The turbos are thirsty for oil.

The only fluid I've had issues with so far was the anti-freeze. Brought it to the dealer, they topped off, no other problems. It seemed kinda odd to loose anti-freeze with no apparent leak?

According to some folks, it is an issue with the S as well

I have had mine for about 9 months with no issues.

My CTT drank oil like crazy when it was new. One long trip ended that. Ya got to be just a bit patient, it will tighten up.
