I thought it was an embedded layer in the laminated glass. If it has bubbles I'd have PCNA replace the glass at once. That could be classified as a potential hazard if it affects visibility.
LOL..i'm no tint guy so I don't wanna be too analytical about it. bubbles are bubbles...they came with the car (the side window behind rear passenger side) and look like bad tint job (from Porsche) to me.

You don't have to a 'tint guy' to complain to Porsche that you're not happy w/ the bubbles. Unless you 'ordered' the bubbles you got something you don't want. I'm sort of **** (is that short for analytical . . . lol) and would certainly point out Porsche's manufacturing defects at my first opportunity.

It's fairly common in the aftermarket window film business to have bubbles if the film is not applied under the correct conditions. Bubbles in factory laminated glass is unexcusable. Make 'em fix (replace) it!

Ah..not I see what you're saying! So they 'laminated' the glass instead of tinting it? Interesting...ok...

it's not really a big deal to me. I don't expect a 'perfect car' from any manufacturer..LOL...

That's where you and I differ. I do expect a 'perfect' car especially if it's P Car. I didn't buy a Ford, Chevy, Kia, Nissan, etc . . . . I bought 'German engineering & workmanship' so I believe having high expections is warranted.

LOL...no way there's a perfect car. The moment you picked it up, you should've already noticed the swirl marks caused by the 'dealer prep job'... When I picked mine up, not only did I see swirl marks all over under the showroom light, but I also saw haze at some spots.....
