Question red colored fluid drops under front of car???

almost new cayenne. i noticed some red/cranberry color drops near the front of the car on the garage floor. when i look under the front nose, i can see it "collecting" right at the base of the front nose underside black plastic piece. collecting in the sense that there are small drops ready to fall, not a constant leaking, more of a dripping.

is this transmission fluid? if so, will the car warn me if it's too low to safely drive? i'm assuming the check engine light or something will come on if such a vital fluid was low? checked the manual and didn't see anything re transmission fluid.

TIA.

Sounds to me like hydraulic fluid. Perhaps a leak in the power steering???

I agree with Sloth, you have a leak or weep in your power steering line most likely. Not a huge issue but definately worth a trip to the dealer in the next few days.

Hmmm. Did you loan your car to someone? Sounds like your car may have been used in a some sort of wrong doing.

thanks for the responses. is hydraulic fluid red thought?

but regardless, the car would indicate if any fluid was low, yes?
