Why? Synthetic won't break down that fast. Just a shot in the dark, but I bet the engineers at Porsche know more about oil then the average owner...I find odd you worry about the oil's integrity but not a super-speedy-lube.

i think 10k miles is about as far as i'd stretch the oil changes. 20k just seems too long of a service interval.
