GIAC ECU Upgrade

Hi I'm new to this forum, I just picked up a 2005 CTT with allot of extras the car has the GIAC ECU Upgrade, Renntech lowering module, 21's etc. I notice that on the highway under heavy acceleration, the power doesn't seem completely linear it seems to be slightly rough during acceleration or should I say completely smooth. Is this normal? Does anyone have this upgrade, just curious?

Thanks

First off congrats on the new car. I have run GIAC software in my S4 and liked it. I've heard both positives and negatives on a few boards regarding GIAC software. Garret Lim (the owner/programmer) at GIAC knows his stuff so I would contact them and see if they have a "fix" or any other info you could draw from.

I run Protomotive software in my wife's CTT and has no issues what so ever.

Contacted GIAC earlier today and they said they are working on something for release in a few months for GTS.

The roughness could be the ignition coils and is not unusual.
