Thanks! Excited.

First time I've ordered a car. This is going to be a rough few months!

The only things i would consider if I were you in addition to what you ordered would be PDCC and a trailer hitch (if you ever need one, they extremely expensive to install (its a $630 option for the 08 MY). Is the dealer giving you floor mats or did Porsche finally just throw them in?

PDCC is not needed. What comes with the current GTS is suffient.

Unless I am mistaken it's just the Sway bars becoming tighter or relaxed. I think it's overkill. I am a spirited driver but even on my test drive(s) I have pushed this car around turns like no other and it stays planted.

I would never tow anything.

I just looked over the list and the porsche head rests are missing. I will have to talk to them about that.

But did you drive one with PDCC? The dealers I've talked to don't order Cayennes w/o a trailer hitch. Both I think are going to be good for resale but if you don't want/need them.....

Crests are good.

Waiting sucks. Good luck.

I'll talk to the dealer sometime next week to A/B PDCC.
This is LA. Nobody needs a trailer hitch (that drives Cayennes). Also will talk to dealer.

Crests is a definite. How much have you spec'd at your Crests for the back for?

Waiting does suck.

They are part of a package price. I'm waiting for the breakdown and I'll be able to tell you then.

I'm with you. I didn't get PDCC or the hitch either. Dealer encouraged me to get the hitch, but I thought it looked ugly and I am 100 percent certain I'll never tow anything and resale value isn't a concern. I wish I lived in an area where PDCC would be a real asset, but in Chicago stop-and-go traffic (much like LA) there just aren't many opportunities to get much use out of it. Kind of wish I got the panoramic roof like you did, but "someone else" nixed the idea. We have a convertible, anyway. But I think you'll really dig the pano roof.

Nice set of options. I ordered a 2009 GTS also but didn't know about option UF1 at the time and I think its too late to change my order. I hope the mobridge unit will still be compatible with the rumored touch screen PCM...

I learned not to have "someone else" involved until driving off the lot .
Once I saw the pix of the pano roof it was a must have.
Between that and the all leather interior I'm sure I might hold on to this lease a little longer.

It's my understanding that none of the 09 orders have actually been put in as the system, just yesterday listed the new options but price is still TBD.
