It actually has been for a couple of weeks. But, just fyi, it shows a sport set option with Alcantara inserts that is actually not available according to my dealer.

Really? I kept missing it then as I have been looking nearly every day. Maybe the old site was cached on my computer. Oh well, sorry for the not so current posting.

It's goofy because it is, and has been, on the configurator. However, if you don't start at the "Build Your Porsche" link, but, rather, go to the model link higher up on the left side and select Cayenne, it only has the Turbo (with the 2009 base price) and not the Turbo S.

OK, that explains it. That is what I was doing before today. Thanks for the clarification.

It is (standard) and it isn't. From what my dealer could find out a couple weeks ago, and what I can see from pictures on the web, there's a minimal amount of carbon standard, but no options to add more. Wood, on the other hand, is a different story. Also, if you want the two tone, thicker steering wheel, it's standard with the two tone sport seat interior (now standard). But if you select the solid color sport seats (which doesn't show on the configurator but is available according to the dealer), or the comfort seat option, the two tone thicker wheel is available, but it'll cost you $1000.

Good point. It is just some of the trim pieces but you can't get the steering wheel, grab handles, etc. - none of the big pieces. Weird options to exclude.
