DEETZ; Actually the AT Italia Presa wheels are under 2500 per set of four. You can confirm that by checking the Tire Rack site.

The 60mm offset front and 41mm rear come in at $2,176 before tires. THAT'S A $1,524 SAVINGS OVER THE GEMBALLA!

For the same wheel made on the same assembly line in the same foundry. Think about it. $1,524 is a lot of center caps if you ask me........

Let me elaborate after doing more digging:

AT Italia is not a foundry. They buy rough castings from various foundries (Fomb, Fondmetal, Valbrem, SPEEDLINE, etc) and then finish machine and paint them themselves. Gemballa does the same thing. That's why their bolt holes may be slightly different. So, the reason the Gemballa and AT Italia look so close is because they both came from the same mold (lets assume at Speedline's foundry) and then were finished by their respective marketers. The paint may be a little different (but not over $1,500 different) but from a casting quality standpoint the two are NO different. We actually have ATI use a finish process that exceeds European standards for durability so as to hold up to US road salt in the winter. With this information you can decide which to go with as the differences between the two are very subtle.

Remember me saying before that there are only a handful of foundries that make all of these wheels? Above is case in point!
