Question Towing the a GTS

Has anyone used the GTS for towing a trailer? I have a 5000lbs (approx) motorcycle trailer that needs to be towed. Does it come with the electric brake hook up or is that something that needs to be hooked up aftermarket?

5000 pounds? Empty? No Brakes? really? Get a Suburban! I tow a sailboat, maybe 2000 lbs all up and my CTT does it without thinking. Not sure I'd tow a big assed heavy trailer with no brakes.

i've got a 5,500 LBS Boat/Trailer. and the GTS pulls it fine!

As far as the brakes depends on how your trailer is setup! My boat trailer has a 5 wire system which it has disc brakes on the trailer.

My Race/Car trailer has electric brakes, which you have to have a module for, a trailer brake booster. I haven't pulled this with my GTS YET, but i know it would pull it fine, i just have to get another brake booster. I have a Tundra to pull this though...

They are pre-wired for a trailer brake, but you do have to buy the module for it.

Do you know where the pre-wire is?
