PSM and AWD failure
PSM and AWD failure
So I was hustling my CS through an on ramp with PSM on, which it rarely is, and I hit some sand coming out of the turn and all of the sudden I get a loud BEEP and PSM failure on my instrument cluster and slam the rear end into a curb (thank gd it didn't have a guard rail).
$3k with a new wheel later my mechanic tells me that the steering angle malfunctioned and there is nothing mechanically wrong with the drivetrain but it caused a fault in the computer. Anyone else have something like this happen?

nope, never heard of it.
But why do you normally drive with PSM off? You like to drift often?
Because I feel with it on and normal, the car handles wonderfully.
Just wanted to know your thoughts on this.

I had the same error messages once when I put our 05 C in reverse to back out of the garage……At the time I was having some major transmission shifting problems (That Porsche blamed on the brand of tires I had)
