08' GTS, Ipod hookup?

I have a 08' GTS w/Nav. what is the best way to play your ipod through the head unit?
I know this has been discussed, but I am still a little confused on the different options.
Thanks bros...

I paid 499 for the unit and about 150 for a p-dealer install. However lots-o-guys more mechanically inclined than I have done the install themselves.
