once in every 500 miles the dipped beams dont light up and get this error-----once i restart the vehicle the error goes away and the lights start working-----what could it be------it only happens when i turn the switch to turn the interior lights on as well

 

sounds like there may be an electrical short somewhere if its happeneing when you turn on the interior lights. it also could be a loose headlight mounting tray that is causing the headlight assembly to move around while your driving and connector on the headlight may not be pushed in all the way which could cause the intermitent warning light.

you should bring it to a dealer to get looked at if your still in warranty
