Any significant differences between the '08/'09 models? Thinking of getting a GTS and can save a bit on the '08s. What will I miss out on?

I am wondering the same thing, also in the market for either an 08 or 09.

 

i think just the PCM 3

 

Mostly the PCM 3.0 which they have made very difficult for the 08's to install. I heard it is tied to the VIN now. Which is stupid.

Also they changed the ***** on the sunroof to a circle **** and they changed the seat belt/lights on chime. I think they gave it standard Auto Headlights.

 

Sounds like I can live with the differences. So is $10k off a good deal on brand new '08 leftover?

I'd go with the 09, considering a year's depreciation on it, 10k is really not worth going with 08.

 

I was looking for a left over 08 until I saw the new pcm3. It is night and day with the Japanese like map, nav, and an USB iPod integration. It was hard to take an older style PCM after. I was also able to get close to 7k off which is a great deal.

 

I had an '06 and now have an '09. I'd highly recommend the '09. Between the larger screen which is now touch, the iPod hookup and phone bluetooth it is a great improvement.
I agree with the above comment about $10m of vs. one year's depreciation.

 

i'd let my 2008 GTS go for $69k, if anyones interested

check around, you can get more than 10K off for a fully loaded with pdcc and full leather.

I found one in TX for $16K off, with all options except Pano.

It's worth it to get the 08 and NOT the 09 for the option different within the same gts line.
The touch screen with bird's eye view is awesome, but not worth the $10-15K I think you can save with going for the 08.
