Hello fellas

I'm not new to the forum, just to this section as I just got a new Cayenne V6 2008, nicely discounted at 40k. The price is the lack of equipment but it handles so superiorly to its pears (ML, X5) that it was worth the nasty APR.

I also needed to polish it to get rid of whirls left from the dealership (shameful) but it looks like a mirror, at least until I drive out the garage. Things about black cars...

Mods to come - wheels and tires, tinting (HO in Houston area anyone?), double din DVD/GPS once I find a decent bezel and the list go on...

I bought Zymol at walmart. Well, I'm both lazy and cheap but it worked nicely. One piece of advice, stay of the clear bra, it's a PITA to remove.
After the wax, i finished with some liquid wax (ICE) left over

too much stuff in front of the car, not a lot of room in my garage for a front pic

it was better than buying X5 or ML, at least so far. One thing to remember, only the Cayenne is german (hate replies incoming)

 

You have to polish to remove the swirls, not wax!!
