Finished the $9K of mods on CS pics
Looks nice. But I have a question for ya...considering how much '05 Turbos are going for right now why didn't they just take that extra $10k they spent modding the CS and get a CTT to begin with? Grantid, the wheels would be extra but they would have gotten the bumper and - more importantly - the motor!
If I remember correctly, the breakdown was around $5K for the wheels/tires. Then another $2,600 for entire turbo front end conversion & body work w/ new OEM parts. The new roof rails were around $650.
This CS was for my sister-in-law, and the last thing my brother wanted to do was to give her a twin turbo suv. She is already too much of a lead foot. The only real cost that would have been avoided by going with a CTT would be the $2600 for the bumper conversion.
Of course if I were ever to get a Cayenne for myself, I would spend the extra for the TT, put on some Gemballa kit components, Techart wheels, and lowering kit.
