ChitownCS08 is infamous around these parts
red calipers and super wide tires

Im interested in buying a set of 360 forged spec 5ives for my black (blackout package) 08 CS and cant help but picture a set of chrome 22 inch wheels with vibrant red break calipers. Unfortunately, the S model doesnt come with red calipers ive heard very bad things about painting calipers such as fading, flaking, and chipping. im in search of the best thing to do in my situation. your input would be greatly appreciated.

I was also wondering what the widest possible tire size would be that would fit on the cayenne without messing with the suspension or anything like that. I would also be interested in additional fender extensions if they are neccessary to turn the stock 275's into steamrollers
Again, any input would be greatly appreciated, thanx

Brake caliper refinishing is fine so long as you do them right.... I think you might be refering to those "do it yourself" kits.... Some people have mentioned good/bad results both. Chipped calipers often are a result of Powder Coated calipers which ARE NOT the way they come from Brembo. If you pony up the cost of doing the calipers right you should have problems.

As far as wheels I would recommend sticking with 10" wide or 285 if you want to be safe. You might be able to stretch it just a little....
