might be buying 05 turbo. How reliable?
Yes factory warranty covers basically everything, and even the new certification is an extension of the factory warranty as of, I Believe August-ish 2008, meaning anything certified under the NEW certification process, is a 2 year extension of factory warranty. Your mileage may vary getting this covered under old CPO.
Edit:One thing I would like to add is that if I were in the market for a nice, sporty, luxury, not to mention quick SUV, 04-05 Cayenne turbo would most likely top my list.

Thanks.
Owned an 05 CTT for a year now. The car has been in an out of the shop for the last three months. I had bad coils, some bad spark plugs that a dealer installed that messed up the timing so I had the ECU flashed with the latest software. All this was under my CPO warranty. I recommend buying CPO because service isn't cheap.
Just like in the earlier posts, drinks alot of oil. I check the oil level every 1000 miles. The manual recommends service every 20,000 miles. Two dealers have recommended that an oil change should be done every 10,000 miles. They're out for profit for a $250 oil change.
