I have a porsche cayenne s year 2004. In my country there is no porsche dealer. There are mechanics here with diagnostic machines etc , but no porsche scanner. My question is is it possible to programme the key with a autoboss or other scanner. What software do you need to programme the key. All codes are available only to programme the key is a problem.
So where can i get or find this software to programme key.
Or is it compatible with the audi q7 software or else?

 

In order to program a porsche key, you need the PIWIS computer to access KESSY system (the system that handles keyless entry and immobilizer systems). It is NOT possible to program the keys without PIWIS computer.

If you get to use a PIWIS computer, steps are:
1-) Connect the cable to car
2-) Go to KESSY menu
3-) Scan for error codes
4-) Enter new key assignment menu
5-) Enter the number of keys to be programmed
6-) Insert the key that will be programmed
7-) Enter the factory programmed passcode for the key (you need to retrieve this information from Porsche, even dealer don't know it, they request it from Porsche NA)
7-) Cycle the ignition
8-) Voila!
9-) Do the same for the other keys as prompted by PIWIS.

Unlike american cars, where you can program your own keys, it is not possible to do the same for Porsche. What country is that, with no porsche dealer?

 

In Suriname there is no porsche dealer!
There is a guy here who programms key for bmw x5, audi q6, mercedes and other german cars. he is doing it on his laptop with the software which comes in the original computers of x5 etc.
Now he checked for me and saw that he has a software for the cayenne 2006. I hope he can do it. I will check later with him.

as I told you before, you'll need the factory password in order to program the keys...

 

i have all passwords to programme the key, like immobilizer code, key code, car code. Only do not have piwis computer. There are some programmes and software where which you can programme the key only i do not know which ones.
I had a bmw x5 and the key was programmed with a software which the chinese sell in the aftermarket. So you do not always need to have the original thing to programme it.
