Installing used abs pump, programming question

Needing to install a used replacement abs pump in a 08 cayenne. Wondering if this is a plug and play install or if it needs to be programmed to vehicle? If so, will a PIWIS handle the programming?

I'm not positive but I think the problem will be activating the pump and all the solenoids/valves to get it bled correctly. The abs control module shouldn't be part of the equation.

not even close. brakes bleeds without any problem without any "activation"

used pump can be a problem. need to be exact matched partnumbers, or possibility of errors is very high. new pump coded to vehicle once, PIWIS can solve many problems but not this one...
