Anyone ever deal with "MaxCare" Extended warranty?

Like the subject says; I'm looking for previous experiences or horror stories from people who have used Maxcare for their extended warranty and any special procedures I should follow to avoid getting shafted. When I bought the car (04CS) I purchased the 3 yr 36,000 additional mile warranty. (Yes I bought the car at Carmax don't shoot me)
Does the Porsche dealer work with these guys or do I need to take it to Carmax first <shudder>

I have developed a serious transmission issue after an oil change and after I make sure the shop didn't drain my fluid I need to take it in. Looking for pointers or advice.

Thanks,
Chris

I've heard mixed reviews.. Apparently they need to send an inspector to the dealer before any work is authorized (Often resulting in delays). I would call your local Porsche dealer and see what they have to say.

My advice would be not to mention you had a recent oil change. These warranty guys are always looking for a reason to deny your claim.
