2010 Cayenne?

Hi guys,

I am reading online that the next gen Cayenne (2010+) will not be as SUV as it is now. It will focus more on car-like driving capabilities.

It looks like it's getting smaller in size too (at least outside).

Didn't Porsche make the Panamera for that?

I am listing one of the many links:

Any thoughts?

since most people don't take their Cayenne off-road, making it more car-like to drive may attractive the general public more.

not sure if smaller size is good or not, but I'll be getting one for my wife to use so smaller will be easier for her to park.

panamera is useless for me as it only sits four, we got 5 family members.

I already think the Cayenne the most car-like SUV I have ever driven - but that may be partially due to PDCC and PASM. It is certainly something I would enjoy driving on a daily basis and I am not a huge SUV fan. SUV's have such a tarnished image right now that making the Cayenne more of a cross-over probably is not a bad idea.

It is just so ugly too - at least in the photos.
