Have an 05 TT that whines excessively in gear. Mostly around 45mph.
Has anyone heard of this issue before. Pun intended

 

In extreme cold, my tranny whines when leaving my driveway (low speeds only).

I live all over the place so location isn't relative in this matter. I used to live in Taos, NM were it was as low as -10f to Houston now. Mine has always whined in low speeds early in the am (i think its in 1st gear too)when its cold but the 3 and 4th gear whine around 45mph has gotten worse.
Porsche says it is above normal but not too loud yet.

 

I have CS and I get a slight whine with torque demand around 3rd gear. It is normal unless your whine is extremely loud. I think it's a nice sound personnally.
