Advice needed: Should I buy an 05 S with high mileage?

I just found a good price (under $20K) for an 05 Cayenne S (fully opt); however, it already has 104K miles on it.

Would the high mileage kill the deal?

Also would the engine last past 160K miles?

canberk will become famous soon enough
it will definitely kill the car, assuming P-cars are mostly used with high rpm ranges...

I wouldn't let mileage be a concern , <$20k sounds like a good price to me. Figure after you put another 60k miles on it you can still probably get $14k-$16k when you go to sell it.
Given the reliability of these motors you're going to see a lot of happy high mileage Cayenne owners.
I would reccommend a prepurchase inspection before you buy it.

Good luck!

+1 on the PPI, you can easily match the purchase price in repairs, it's called "PPB" Personal Porsche Bankruptcy. Good Luck!

I'm with the canuck on this one..I love my CTT. This will be the first vehicle i keep for more than 2 years. I'll likely see over a 100K miles before i sell it.

They're a blast to drive.
