Buying a Cayenne Turbo.. what should I look out for?

Buying a Cayenne Turbo.. what should I look out for?

Should I avoid certain years??
Any common problems with the Turbo models?

I'd avoid any Cayenne outside of at least one year on the manufacture warranty. I purchased my 06 several weeks ago. A steering rack and column later, I'm sure I'd be out at least 3 - 5K without a warranty.

Oh yea, what to look out for? 5.0 in the rear view :-)

What year are you looking to buy? If 08+, no problems. I wont even consider 08 -

Why wont you consider anything older than 08?

I said that based on the superior driving experience in 08+ models with the PDCC option. If you are asking about major problems or its reliability, I cannot answer as I never owned a previous year model but my 08 has been rock solid so far with 30K miles on it. Needless to say it is maintained like a king. I am actually selling it to a relative overseas to buy a 09 Turbo S.

dont have turbo but do have 06 cayenne s...rock solid over 20k miles.
0 warranty work.
i am guessing that it'd be same for other cayenne models too

have an 05 with over 65k and not a problem. Would not consider an 04, would go with 05^

I have an '05 turbo with 45K miles and no problems so far.

Glad to hear the good news about them as well because im looking to get into a 05 turbo hopefully by the weeks end.
