Subjective opinions on wheels wanted

I have a silver '09 Turbo S with a TechArt lowering module and FabSpeed cat bypass pipes and performance mufflers. I'm currently running 20" TechArt Formulas with snow tires and have the original 21" Porsche Sport wheels and tires for Spring. I'd like to up date those to aftermarket 21's or 22's (I'm in the upper midwest and the roads totally suck so I'm a little worried about 22's) but can't decide what style and make will look best.
I understand it's totally subjective, but what would you guys do. The look and wheel strength are more important considerations than cost.
Thanks!

I have Champion 22's on mine. These are reported to be some of the best/strongest wheels out there in 22's, but still I hit a hole and it bent the rim. I dont know the physics involved but less tire bigger rim, its gonna bend or break if u hit a hole hard enough with 22's or bigger. On a side note, I did have the rim fixed for under $300 locally, lucky nothing cracked.

Thanx very much. I really love the way the Cayenne came out, I'll have this vehicle a long time.

As most of you know, I've had two 22" cast aluminum RUF (made by Borbet) wheels fail, and a brand new 22" RUF wheel get bent (out-of-round).

I now have installed 20" OZ Canyons with Pirelli Scorpions All Seasons and I'm quite pleased with the ride and handling.

Long term, I will purchase another set of wheels that will be 21" 3-piece configuration. This configuration is much stronger than a cast wheel that has the center hub flush with the outside section of the wheel. Both failures on my 22" were failures in tension along the inside section of the wheel, 90 degrees from the impact zone. The location of the failure makes sense - the location is furthest from the supported section of the center hub. Going to a 3-piece design wheel reduces the high stresses that the inner section of the wheel will be subjected to.

Sure 22" (one-piece) wheels look great, but they will get bent/out-of-round or just fail when driving on typical roads.

I would not go larger than 21" (cast one-piece) on a vehicle that is almost 3 Tons and expect that the wheels/tires will stay balanced and/or not fail.

My subjective input.

i had 22" forgiato concavos previously, but wifes been driving scratched the hell out of them, and they were chrome so i went away on business for couple months the car was outside, and the salt ruined the rims, they are getting fixed and still havent heard from them for like 4 months now, i really doubt the warranty will cover them, right now i have oem 22" GTS rims very sick!!

What about styles

I'd like to get a discussion going about which styles look best on which model Cayennes. Let's overs simplifiy and brake down the styles, for discussion, to three categories: five spoke, multi spoke and mesh patterns.
In your opinion, what "feeling or look" is generated by each style? Which looks better on a lowered turbo or a GTS, etc.
