Red face Installing Trim / Shift Know / Steering Wheel on Your Own - Easy?

Does anyone know how to do this correctly and accurately so I don't get raped at the dealer's service bay?

I did see this tool kit but still a complete rookie, not knowing how to do this. Or even what it would cost me to have someone do this? ANyone live in so cal that I can hire?
