Air Bag Light
Air Bag Light
Hey guys, my 2009 Cayenne S is having a problem. I got the Cayenne S towards the end of Dec, and have only 750~ Miles on it. The airbag warning light stays on, even when I am driving. I first noticed it last night, when I went to drive it for the first time in 4 days. I tried shutting off the car, in hopes of the light turning off, but it didn't work. I looked in the manual, and it recommends me to take it to the dealer as soon as possible.
Any suggestions on what this cause might be?
Can someone also recommend a dealer to go to? I was thinking about taking it back to Downtown L.A. Porsche, since it's closer, and is where I got the car.
Thanks,
Eric

Are you talking about the passenger airbag light or the one on the dash, driver airbag? If it's driver airbag, it's most likely to be a problem with the seatbelt buckles, even though it makes no sense. The only way is to bring it in to a dealer and have them order the required part.
Oops! Yeah, it was the drivers air bag.
I went to Downtown LA Porsche and was out of there in 2 hrs.
You were right, it was the seatbelt buckle! It happened on my RL before too. A sensor with the seat belt buckle assembly was loose/faulty, so it threw off the light. Thanks!
