'08 Turbo or "09 GTS?
gts is sweet and handles its power with total precision---the reason for this is it can take so much more power.
Guess the turbo would deliver that ,albeit without factory bluetooth or touchscreen nav.

Alot of people assume the GTS will outhandle the Turbo or just like it for the 6-spd manual. What they don't realize is that you can order the Turbo with PDCC and, as a bonus, you get mounds and mounds of turbo-backed TORQUE.
Turbo ALL THE WAY.
Turbo. My 02 anyway. After driving them back to back I do not see how anyone would choose the GTS. No bash towards the GTS, it is awesome. Just not the same "kick" as the turbo.

Okay, you guys have me convinced on this turbo.
This car has 225 miles on it and used as a demo/test drive vehicle but untitled. How much more discount do you think I can get on it from the advertised $20K discount? Or is the 20K discount itself worth this purchase? I'm going to see if they can also throw in the Tooki bluetooth/ipod adapter. I'm trying to get a good a deal as possible.
I'm going to the dealer tomorrow morning.

the GTS has a far more useable rev range and that translates into pure fun.
The GTS is probably the smarter choice as you save money and it will feel fun due to the louder exhaust. But the Turbo is the faster choice - and tunable later also. I went through a similar decision process but ended up today with a lava grey Turbo S due to the deal I received. Problem with all this is that if you want the interior craftsmanship (i.e., leather dash, carbon package, etc.) AND PDCC, you may as well end up going for the CTTS because even the GTS ends up being pretty close in price with all the options! So stop thinking about it and save money with the GTS, or just get it out of your system with the Turbo S and focus on your business. LOL.

One last thing, they punched a lot of vehicles sold. This means the vehicles warranty clock started the day the vehicle was marked sold even though it never left the dealership. If the warranty has started, then you can reasonably expect further compensation.

sorry but more speed is what the turbo delivers - more useable engine power within the confines of our highways etc - the GTS blows the Turbo.
comes back to the point, if you want to really push the engine, the GTS is the choice. i had more fun in the 1st month of my GTS than the 6 months i had the turbo.

I say the following meaning absolutely no disrespect since the GTS is an amazing car: the GTS 6-speed is definitely fun but during my 3 extended test drives, I always felt the throws were too long and the clutch had too much travel -- it also restricted the power beyond a certain point if held in gear too long. My sales guy actually discouraged me every time we drove it, joking that it drove like a Wrangler (which is obviously an exaggeration!). I wanted to make the 6-speed work out so much that we even called Champion Motorsports and asked them if they would be able to develop a short shifter kit. Unfortunately, they said it was economically impractical because not enough GTS 6-speeds are sold so their market would be too small for the investment.
This all being said, I do agree that a GTS is still really fun if you decide to combine the fun of a 6-speed with the usability of an SUV, but unless you have no other outlet to satisfy your clutch-thirst, go for the Turbo.
