2005 Cayeene S keeps asking for oil???

I bought my CPO Cayenne S with 32900 miles, I have put on about 4800 miles since then, this is the second time its asking for a quart of oil. Is this normal?

To me, that seems excessive for an S. A turbo is a different story, I think all turbo's use some oil. I have an 05 C and an 06 CS and I have never had to add oil to either one between changes. And they're both showing over 50K miles.
You may not be using enough to convince the dealer something is wrong but I'm thinking you're at least on the high consumption end of "normal".

Being that its the second time, I haven't even mentioned it to the dealer, I just add it on my own. Maybe I should give them a call. I do drive it hard, if that makes a difference...

or put another way…before my engine went south, I was using a litre every 6000 kms…but the dealer said that was normal as he replaced the engine.

That sounds excessive - you should take it in to see what the issue might be.

oil

0W40. Best not to mix different viscosites

That is want the dealer puts in cars. Manual has a bunch of different ones which are ok.

Best to match with viscosity of last oil change. Not the end of the world if you top up with slighlty different viscosity but probably good idea not to do it all the time

I always keep a bottle in trunk whn I go on trips.
