I have '09 V6 that sometimes when I armed my car the alarm goes off even when all my doors are shut and windows including the moonroof are closed. I unlock and hit lock again and it still goes off. The only way to get it back to working normally is to open any one door and close it. It happens randomly and it annoy the heck out of me. I can't get it to replicate the problem when I bring it to the dealership. I wonder if anyone has the same issue and what is the solution. Thanks.

 

my 09 will set off the alarm when i lock the door. it happens about once every few weeks. but if the problem is fixed when i unlock and lock again.

 

could be some kind of fly or insect inside the car, i dunno

 

I thought about that, but the alarm goes off immediately after i armed the alarm. Also when i open and close the door it will work fine.

 

i heard about this before, i think it's some kind of a sensor fault, but hard to replicate at the dealership... Need to work on it, Cayennes' can sometimes have problems that are hard to find why...
