Indicator stalk auto cancel stopped working?

Hi there,

Anyone ever had this issue? My indicator auto cancel seems to have stopped working? Ie you put the indicator on (either right or left), turn a corner, but no matter what the indicator stays on and I have to flick it off manually? Reminds me of my motorbike days!

Car is 2003 Cayenne S 6-speed auto with about 30000 miles on the clock. Any help appreciated!

Cheers,

Beej

OK for everyone's information - it turned out this problem is due to the "drivers airbag clock spring" needing to be replaced. Can't say I really understand how a failure of that sort on a low mileage car could have occurred?

Cheers,

time also puts some "invisible mileage" on your car, even if you don't drive it
